I'm excited about a cruise my spouse and I have arranged for August entitled 'Into the Northwest Passage.' This cruise is another North of 60 expedition, and it's organized by Adventure Canada. We will leave from Kangerlussaug,Greenland, cruise north along its coast, then cross Baffin Bay. In the Canadian North, we will sail past Bylot, Devon and Beechey Islands, then down Prince Regent Inlet past Somerset, King William and Victoria Islands, and completing our journey at Coppermine(Kugluktuk), NWT. We will be making many Zodiac stops during our 14 days of sailing, at villages, historic sites, and for hiking. This will be a continuation of our exploration of the North.
I am really looking forward to this trip.
How did my interest in the North begin? Please google 'True North Perspective, Archives, February 5, 2010 issue, and read my article under 'RV-ing and Other Adventures North of 60.' You will then understand my lure of the North.
