Spring

By the calendar spring is really here, but weather-wise it is not very warm. However, spring does bring us many things besides warm weather. Right now, I'm still working on my income tax, but hopefully in a couple of days it will be all done. Then there is the yard and garden to clean up, and new flowers to put in - I notice that the grass is starting to come up. There is never an end to the spring jobs. But I do like spring - it is a renewal of life.

This year spring brings us something else - a federal election. I do intend to exercise my duty and help in electing a better government. I do hope the turnout is considerably better than it was the last time.

Before long, I will also participate in some of the local fairs and festivals where I will display some of my pottery and my book 'RV-ING and Other Adventures North of 60.' I will have more information on that later. I guess it will also be time to take out our RV and think of what we might do this summer. More next time.
