I have been away awhile, not because I wanted to be, but because our old computer deserted us, and it took us a bit of time to get organized with a new one. And we are still having problems,but we'll get things sorted out.
Now back to our Book and Artisans sale at the Dominican University College. What an interesting building! Like many other people I took the opportunity to take a tour. I thought the fair went fairly well, though I sold more pottery than books. I think that there was a bit of a parking problem since the parking lot was quite small.
Now to some new news; I'm taking part in the Ottawa Guild of Potters Fall Sale at the Hellenic Centre on Prince of Wales Drive that is in progress now. It ends on Sunday, Nov. 28th at 5:00 p.m. There are about 70 potters participating, and the variety is unending. Come and see the pottery even if you don't intend to buy anything, the parking and entry is free.
I'm enclosing a picture of some of the pots I have made in the past - so you have some idea what I make.
