This will be my last entry before the Christmas holidays set in on us. Last week, Dec. 9th, OIW had their annual Xmas party at Robbie's Italian Restaurant; it was well attended,completely booked. Before our dinner, we were entertained with about eight people reading their composed poetry - which we then had to judge. Great fun!
The food wasn't bad either.
To end the year, I am posting a few more photos from our NW Passage cruise; these lovely polar bear pictures are not mine. In fact, I just recently received them from Pierre Richard, one of our lecturers on that trip, he is a great photographer. Earlier in the fall, the passengers of the cruise did a little exchanging of photos; unfortunately, when our computer crashed, we lost all the e-mails with those photos. Pierre was kind enough to come to my rescue. My bear pictures had not turned out well, so I have not posted any. For Xmas I will be getting a new camera so will have better photos on our next trip. Anyway, the above photos are mostly Pierre's and I thank him for them.
