This last couple of weeks were a bit harrying as we lost most of our computer workings and pictures. I feel lucky that my blog is still here. Ah well, I guess that is life, and it goes on. Now on with my next project, and it has to do with the title above.
I will be hosting a slide presentation of our travels in the Canadian North and Alaska on which my book 'RV-ING and Other Adventures North of 60' was based on. This will take place in the Theatre of the Heron Seniors' Centre at 1480 Heron Rd. at 1:00 p.m. on October 5, 2011. I hope you will join me.
I was lucky that I still had my photos taken in the North in our laptop that we had taken North with us, as the
photos were completely obliterated from our desk computer. However, I did not have my maps that I used in my book, in the laptop, so I am trying to see how I can re-invent them for my travelogue. I expect things will gradually get themselves resolved.
While it is still warm outside, you can definitely feel that autumn is in the air, and the leaves are also showing some beautiful reds in a small number of places confirming that summer is over. Now to get back to my task at hand, enjoy this warm autumn while it lasts.
